FEELINGS LIST
We may have enough self awareness to know that we feel “good” or “bad”, but feelings awareness that defines our specific emotions can clarify what need of ours is met or not met. Use this list to identify what feelings are present.
NEEDS LIST
We have feelings, pleasant or unpleasant, because we have needs that are met or not met, and every human being shares the same basic universal needs that can umbrella over more specific values that can vary between individuals. Use this list to celebrate needs that are being met or clarify needs that are at risk.
BODY SENSATIONS LIST
Body sensations (in feet, hands, brain, lungs, temples, eyes, heart, throat, gut, stomach, fingers, skin, etc.) are clues about what we’re feeling and needing. Use this list to find awareness of what is alive in your body.

“Faux” or belief-based feelings can imply wrongness or blame and create enemy images – and they don’t actually share what you are feeling (they convey what we think about ourselves or what we believe others are doing to us or assume about us).
